All the gaps came for Pedrena last start in the Glenlogan Stakes, stuck to the fence and sprinted clear for a convincing victory. Live chance again in the Dane Ripper Stakes, run at Group 2 level.

Reports are good from the Price stable up there, they expect a big run once again.

Schism worked at Sunshine Coast over 800m, last 400m in 24.0.

Excellent work from King's Authority on Tuesday morning, who worked over 800m, last 600m in 36.12 and 23.16 last 400m. He's engaged to run in the Ron Taylor Hcp, 1000m.Superhard also worked extremely well. He went 800m in 49.01 and 35.87 last 600m.

The Andrew Noblet trained Super Cash arguably should have almost taken out the Goodwood Hcp with a little luck in running. Won't know herself with 51.5kg and represents excellent each way value for punters, Maintenance gallop on Tuesday at home, she worked over 1000m in 1.07 and a tick on
25.0 last 400m. Spot on.

3 trials this time in for Ability, culminating in a 2nd at his most recent at Werribee. Resumes in the K Cox Hcp, 1000m at Flemington and should run very well. Worked solidly at St Leonards over 800m during the week. Monitor market moves closely.
Lady Esprit worked super over 800m, clocking 51.47 and 23.52 last 400m.

A drier track may do the trick for Divine Mr Artie in the ATA Women's Hcp, a BM78 event. Soft gallop on Tuesday, working over 1000m in evens ad 24.96 last 400m. Each way. Stormsabrewing worked 1000m on cp at Geelong in 1.09.24, last 400m in 24.97.

Much better run from Masculino last start. He's a real chance in the Henry Bolte Hcp, run over 2000m. Just a lap of the A Sand on Tuesday morning to keep the miles in his legs for the step up in journey. Trackwork has been first rate whole prep.

Black And tan worked 1200m in 1.24 and 25.04 last 400m. Fit and no excuses for him.
Honey Esprit has trained on well since her last start 2nd. She’ll line up in the 1600m Ladbrokes Hcp and I think she’ll be in this for a long way, especially on a wet track. She worked keenly on Tuesday morning over 1000m, clocking 1.04.97 and 23.77 last 400m.

Freshen up and drop in distance for Pretty To Sea, who worked home her last 800m in 52.95 and 24.10 last 400m split. Palazzo Vecchio went 1200m in 1.25.94 and won’t have any issues at the mile.

Henry Dwyer trained The Dominator, takes his place in the Australian S’Chase and has a 5kg pull in the weights over the top weight and fav. Potted around at the trainer’s St Leonard’s base and all reports are positive going into this that he’ll run well on the day.

Don’t Be Shy worked over 2000m in evens, last 800m in 51.98. Spot on also.

The McCarthy stable will back up with Divine Mr Artie in the Sampson Hcp, 1400m. Restricted trot and canter work this week. He’s in excellent order and the prospect of a wet track will really enhance his chances. Each way.

Castello worked very well on Tuesday morning. He went through his paces over 1000m 1.04.13 and 23.46 last 400m.

The drop back to 1400m will suit Lord Sundowner in the Multimaker Hcp. Added bonus of in form 3kg claiming apprentice L King. Rock hard fit and as honest as they come, he warrants an each way ticket. 7 day backup the only query.

True Myth is also nominated for Morphettville. He galloped on the Sandown C.P over 1000m in 1.07.10, on the bit.

Mahamedeis meets the big boys in the 2200m Grand Prix Stakes at Doomben. Has a sense of timing about him and racing like the step up in distance will really suit. Worked up there during the week with Aloisia (top chance Qld Oaks) , they went their last 1000m in 1.06.53 and last 400m in 24.53. Both spot on for respective assignments.

Terrific each way value on offer for Schism and Pedrena in the Glenlogan Stakes at Doomben. Schism had an easy time of it at the Sunshine Coast during the week, maintenance gallop over 800m and home 25.0 last 400m. Pedrena worked 1.06.75 and 24.75 last 400m. Terrific 2nd up record.
