Snitty Kitty was outstanding when resuming in BM90 mares company on 1st October. Thriving in work at Caulfield, Tuesday morning she went through her paces over 800m in 51.30 and 23.03 last 400m.

High class 3yo Property’s work was enormous over 600m, clocking 35.50 and 22.97 last 400m, which should hold him in good stead first up. Both winning hopes in the Caulfield Sprint, 1000m.

Octabello, from the Mick price yard will face the starter 2nd up, in the Gothic Stakes run over 1400m. Quality win when resuming, looks set for a good prep and is one to follow. Worked keenly with Mactier (also engaged here) over 1000m, clocking 1.05.80 and 24.0 last 400m.

Hard to fault  Lord Sundowner, solid gallop over 1000m. clocking  1.06.64 and 24.91 last 400m, on the bit.

Progressive 3yo staying prospect Hiyaaam ranks highly in the Ethereal Stakes, where she’ll be third up and ready to pounce. Excellent run last start, improved leaps and bounds and expected to figure prominently once again. Tuesday morning she worked over 1600m in evens, home last 600m in 37.61 and last 400m split in 23.12. Each way.

Sydney raider Lucky Louie went 2000m in evens and 24.10 last 400m. Coral Coast worked 1600m in 1.55 and 24.56 last 400m.

Quality mare Silent Sedition tackles the Tristarc Stakes 2nd up, a few scratchings should see her slot in a little closer than barrier 18. Worked keenly on Tuesday morning over 1000m, clocking 1.06 and 24.0 last 400m.

Strong pacework for Now Or Later should see her present in tip top order and the fittest of the trio, Swampland, was clocked going an easy 1000m in 1.11.50 and 25.47 last 400m. Tough race, luck in running will be the deciding factor.

Big watch on the smart debut winner Naantali, who will line up in the Resimax group Plate, 1400m. her work was excellent on Tuesday, she breezed over 800m in 50.50 and 23.0. Big class rise, however, she looks to be above average.

The Stokes camp is likely to back up with the in form Counterplay, who looks well placed against this lot.

Bons Away scored for the loyal readers last start. He’s improving all the time and rates as a genuine hope in the Gilgai Stakes. Flew on Tuesday morning, striding over 800m in 49.60 and 22.50 last 400m.

Silent Sedition is primed here first up. She went 600m in 37.08 and 12.04 last 400m.

Solid run by Hulme last start at odds. He’s in fine fettle heading into the Antler Luggage Stakes, 1400m. Work was excellent on Tuesday morning, clocked over 1000m in 1.05.13 and 23.49 last 400m. Still on the up and rates as an each way hope.

Relson worked 800m in 51,0 and 23.98 last 400m.

Cracking field assembled in the U.C.I Stakes. Love the run of Coral Coast last start in Sydney. She’s come on leaps and bounds since and worth following over the spring as she rises in distance. Solid 1200m gallop Tuesday, clocking 1.18.47 and 24.10 last 400m.

The Robert Smerdon trained import, Now Or Later, looks ready to fire now and will represent good each way value for punters. Strong pace work during the week topped her off nicely for this.

Oregon’s Day went 1200m in 1.18.97 and 24.97 last 400m. Can measure up here.

If Charmed Harmony can run up to his 2nd behind Hartnell, he’d take out the Paris Lane Hcp, over his pet distance of 1400m.  Work was solid on Tuesday, 1000m in 1.02.36 and 47.49 last 400m.

Lovani went 800m in 49.75 and 38.96 last 600m split.

Keep an eye out for the Sadler trained Seized on Friday night under lights in the Simpson Construction Plate, 1200m. Track work has been solid in recent weeks and this looks like a nice race for him to break his maiden status in.
