The Andrew Noblet trained Notice Received ran an excellent race when stepping up to Group company last start, hitting the line nicely, beaten 4.25L behind the in form Shopaholic. She'll be hard to hold out on Friday night in the We Drive Hcp, 1600m. Tuesday morning she worked over 1200m in 1.19.82 and 24.11 last 400m. Step up in distance is ideal at this stage, stick with her, she's Adeliade Oaks bound at this stage.

Chateau Margaux is racing very well and looks the logical danger on paper. Worked nicely on Tuesday morning over 1200m, clocking 1.23 and 24.10 last 400m. Spot on.

The in form Mick Price stable have a live winning chance, Sir Fernando in the Great Food Value Hcp, 1200m, Moonee Valley Friday night. Second up here, always shown he's got ability, only has to overcome an awkward barrier to be a factor here. Worked very well on Tuesday morniong over 800m, clocking 50.88, last 400m 23.75.

The Robert Smerdon trained Assertion looks perfectly placed on Friday night in the Browns Sawdust & Shavings Hcp, 1600m. Fitter for racing, comes in beautifully at the weights after the 3kg claim. Rockin In Heaven steps up in class on her last start victory in maiden company. Still lightly raced and on the up. Tuesday morning she worked over 1200m in 1.23 and 24.10 last 400m.

Vivid Vixen should be ready to show something now that she's third up from a spell, look out for her in the Mitty's Hacp, 2000m. Last start she finished 6.8L behind Manighar in the Carlyon Cup. Undefeated this track and a winner of 2 from 3 at the trip. Will handle all conditions and has bright prospects here. Sidecar comes in very well at the weights and should appreciate a soft track. Was a touch disappointing last start, however, prepared to give him another chance here. Tuesday morning he worked home last 1000m with Macedonian, running even time and a leisurely 38.64 last 600m.

Doubtful Jack should strike a wet track in the $2m Quaddie Hcp, 1400m. His runs on top of the ground have been excellent, given that he's run into Black Caviar last 2 starts. Should roll forward from his nightmare barrier draw and give them something to chase. Tuesday morning he worked over 1000m in 1.09.97 and 38.98 last 600m. Testascana ran well first up and will need a stack of luck from barrier 19. Had a soft hit out on Tuesday morning over 1000m, clocking 1.08.42 and 38.20 last 600m.

The Mick Price trained Instinction hit his straps over the Spring Carnival and rates as one of the better 3yo's going around at the moment. Will neeed to find his best if he's to be a factor in the Australian Guineas. Fitness wise, he's 3rd up here and should be spot on for this assignment. Stable and jockey flying, drawn to get the run of the race from barrier 1. Nice e-w bet. Tuesday morning he worked with Proliferate (also running) over 1200m, clocking 1.20.98 and 24.75 last 400m. Highly Recommended continues to be the bridesmaid, however, he's as hoest as they come and must rate as one for the multiples in this. Galloped solidly on Tuesday morning with Huegeill (blinkers on) . covering 1200m in 1.20.99 and 37.65 last 600m.  Mosheen worked super on Tuesday morning over 1200m on the steeplegrass. She stopped the clock at 1.18.06 and 36.10 last 600m. Needs to overcome the visitors draw, barrier 20!

Her trackwork has been sound and this race looks perfect for her at this stage. Tuesday morning she galloped with stablemate Red Eclipse over 800m, clocking 51.01, 23.85 last 400m and 11.54 last furlong, excellent work.

Eternal Sunshine looks well placed on Friday night in the Swift Signs Hcp, 1600m, at Moonee Valley. Tuesday morning she worked over 1000m in 1.04.56 and 23.99 last 400m. Cherry ripe for this and a good chance to make it 2 wins in a row.

No Black Caviar, Sepoy or Bel Sprinter for Kulgrinda to worry about in the Essendon Mazda 55 Seconds Challenge, Friday night. Biggest drop in class for a long time. Excellent run when resuming, loomed as the likely winner with 200m to go, fading for second, beaten 1L behind Bel Sprinter. Loves this track and distance, excellent winning chance. Tuesday morning she worked over 600m in 41.06 and 25.03 last 400m.

Haven't seem a lot of Zamour, given that he's only had 2 starts to date and a last start winner over 1600m at Ballarat in maiden company. This son of Zabeel has been thrown in the deep end, he'll face the starter in the Autumn Classic, 1800m on his home track. Worked nicely on Tuesday morning over 1400m, clocking 1.39 and 24.18 last 400m. Promising scopey type, in the right stable and rates as an each way chance.

The Colin Little trained Soft Sand continues to impress and will run very well on the weekend when she steps out in the D'Urban A Armanasco Stakes, 1400m. We've yet to see the best of this filly. Her last start win was super impressive, she's trained on well since and is a horse to continue following. Tuesday morning she worked over 1000m in 1.06 and a slick 23.38 last 400m. All class this filly!

The Clinton McDonald trained Bigelow looks a live chance in the Futurity Stakes, 1400m. Recent runs have been excellent, 3rd up here, certainly one for the multiples punters. On the 7 day back up. No Black Caviar to break Doubtful Jack's heart here. Continues to race well, main concern for him is the likelihood of a firm track. Tuesday morning he went through his paces over 1000m, in 1.07.57 and 37.47 last 600m.

Hard to fault Samaready on her 2 runs to date, both resulting in excellent wins. Not a vintage Blue Diamond Stakes and i'd expect her to be storming home late and fighting out the finish. Tuesday morning she worked with Al Aneed (4th emergency) over 800m in 50.09 and 23.96 last 400m, course proper. Member's Joy won't disgrace herself and rates as at least a place hope here. Also worked nicely on Tuesday morning, breezing over 800m 50.50 and 23.80 last 400m.

Southern Speed has returned to racing in devastating fashion and looks very well placed to figure prominently in the Peter Young Stakes, 1800m. This is her 3rd run back from a spell, there's still a fair bit of improvement in her. Worked very well Tuesday morning over 1400m, clocking 1.41.05. 36.70 last 600m and 24.13 last 400m. Stick with her.

Quite taken by the win of Manighar in the Carlyon Cup, 1600m. Will have his work cut out here, however, he's top class and proven in this grade. Tuesday morning he worked over 1400m in 1.39.64 and 36.89 last 600m.
