Most likely we’ll see the Robert Smerdon trained Ability in the Le Pine Funerals Hcp, Sunday Caulfield meeting. He’s been a revelation since being gelded and judging on his work at Moonee Valley Tuesday morning, he’s flying! Went 600m in 36.38 and 24.03 last 400m. Moir Stakes emergency.
Progressive 3yo Masculino is Stutt Stakes bound. Already a winner here, trained on superbly, he rates as a genuine chance to weigh in here under lights at the Valley. Tuesday morning he worked with Might Boss at M.V over 1200m, clocking 1.20.19 and 24.05 last 400m.
Another Price runner, Special Diva, will run on her home track Sunday / Caulfield, this time in the Hcp, 1400m. Sizzled on Tuesday morning in her gallop over 800m, stopping the clock at 49.35 and 23.09 last 400m split. Flying and should run a cracking race.
Snitty Kitty resumes in the Italktravel Plate, 1100m, Caulfield Sunday. Nice trial Tuesday, posted out wide, allowed to find her footing without ever being pushed hard at any stage. Goes well fresh and has a touch of class about her.
Motown Lil worked sharply over 600m, recording a time of 35.1, excellent work on the morning.
A Mist Opportunity went 600m in 37.47 and 23.47 last 400m.
Each way again for She’s So High, taking on the “class A” gals in the Thousand Guineas Prelude. Trained on very well since her cracking run behind Shoals in the Atlantic Jewel. Solid work Tuesday morning over 1000m, clocking 1.04.63 and 23.51 last 400m. Spot on for this.
Taken by the debut performance of the Robert Smerdon trained Rioli, who’ll venture to Adelaide and tackle the 3yo’s in the Alex and Ben’s 50th Hcp, 1050m. Went through his paces over 600m on Tuesday, in 37.0, head on his chest. Promising galloper, follow him this time in.
Classy conveyance Theanswermyfriend can make his presence felt in the Rupert Clarke Stakes, 1400m. Always threatened to win a big one, hasn’t put a foot wrong since scoring last start and expected to handle the class rise. Cracking work Tuesday morning when clocked over 800m in 49.75 and 23.0 last 400m. Smerdon will have him trained to the minute for this.

Undefeated 3yo colt Jukebox will be looking to make it 4 from 4 in the Danehill Stakes, 1200m. Cracking race on paper, where he appears to be up there with the best of his generation. Cracking gallop Tuesday morning, striding over 800m, home last 400m a tick on 23s. Outstanding work.

Fox Swift worked well this week in the lead up to the Cap D'antibes Stakes for the 3yo fillies. She worked 800m in 52.33 and her last 400m in 23.48. Each way, she'll be cherry ripe on the day.

Big ask for Moet Rose. She worked 800m in 54.24 and 24.75 last 400m.

Keep an eye out for the Mick price trained Hulme, who'll line up in the Pin 'n' Win Plate, 1400m. Massive rise in class on debut win, however, looks to have a bright future. Worked solidly with Ouyang Feng over 1200m in 1.23.82 and last 400m in 24.05, last 200m in 11.76.

Lone Eagle and Mighty Boss partnered up over 1000m, clocking 1.05.71 and 23.80 last 400m.

Not sure if Theansermyfriend will contest The Sofitel Stakes or venture to Royal Randwick, however, I suspect he'll be a live hope wherever he steps out. He's looking a treat for the Smerdon yard. Went super on Tuesday morning leading throughout in his trial heat. Spot on!

Not a lot between the Caulfield trained aspirants on Tuesday morning, who'll be looking to add the Let's Elope Stakes to their resume.

Swampland wasn't pushed hard, she went 1000m in 1.12.78 and 27.51 last 400m.

Oregon's Day worked with Princess Of Queens over 1000m in 1.06.82 and 11.98 last 200m. Flying Jess breezed over 800m in 52.0 and 23.97 last 400m.

Berisha can improve 3rd up in The Sofitel Hcp, 1700m. Stuck on well in a hot trial on Tuesday morning, really like the way he went to the line. He's hitting peak fitness and almost ready. He'll start at huge e/w odds and represent value, way overs in my opinion.

Annus Mirabilis resumes. Went 1600m in even time and is probably looking for much further. Can sprint well fresh.
