Soft Sand is a horse going places fast. Just failed last start, where she had too big a task from the back of the field. Steps up to a more suitable journey of 1200m, in the Kevin Hayes Stakes, a Listed event. Will get back from barrier 10, watch her she'll be storming home late. Condition wise, she's spot on, this being her 3rd run for the prep. Tuesday morning she worked over 1000m, clocking 1.06.30 and 38.0 last 600m.

Belle Of The Court resumes here. Was impressive when last in work and should run well here first up. Tuesday morning she worked over 800m in 52.75 and 37.02 last 600m.

There's nothing i can say about Black Caviar that you don't already know. She sizzled home in her trackwork on Tuesday morning and looks spot on to run out the 1400m in the C.F Orr stakes. She worked over 1000m, flying home last 400m in 21.40, outstanding work. win no 18 looks just around the corner. Southern Speed worked very well on Tuesday morning over 1200m, clocking 1.21 and 23.80 last 400m. Chance to run second.

Planet Voyage, from the Peter Moody yard, ran 3rd on debut in the Spring behind the very smart Jimando, then tipped out for a spell. Resumes in the Patinack Farm Blue Diamond Prelude, 1100m. Looks an even bunch on paper and he'll get the right run from barrier 4. Tuesday morning he galloped over 800m in 52.44 and 38.54 last 600m.

Very taken by the debut win of the Mick Price trained Malasun. Showed a good turn of foot when asked to let down, scoring by a comfortable margin 0f 1.25L to the line, beating Members Joy. Her trackwork was first rate on Tuesday morning. She worked with Tuscan Haze over 800m, clocking 51.64 and 23.99 last 400m. The wraps on Tuscan Haze are huge, she's been backed in early markets to win the Blue Diamond Stakes, big watch! Stablemate Samaready was equally impressive on debut and deserves a crack at in the big league. THis stylish daughter of More Than Ready is wound up and worked solidly on Tuesday morning. She strode over 800m in 53.77 and 24.01 last 400m.

The Peter Moody trained Shout Out Loud gets his chance to break through for an overdue win, when he steps out in the Catanach's Carlyon Cup, 1600m, a Group 3 event. He's been knocking on the door for a while now and returned to form last start, getting run down in the last 50m by the top class galloper Southern Speed. He's rock hard fit, no excuses. Tuesday morning he galloped over 1200m in 1.24.01 and 38.51 last 600m. Manighar resumes for the Moody stable. Worth noting he goes well fresh and in the right hands to fire first up. Follow him over the coming months.

Huegill didn't disgrace himself first up and looks a real live hope in the Hyland Autum Stakes, 1400m. This is his distance range and he'll get the run of the race from barrier 1. Comes to hand quickly and looks set for a good prep this time in. Tuesday morning he worked over 1000m, with Cute Emily, clocking 1.05.22 and 37.96 last 600m. Stick with him this time in.

Master Harry flies first up and reesumes in the Rubiton Stakes, 1100m. Failed to flatter when last in work and obviously had his share of problems. Gifted galloper when right, could fire here first up at nice odds. Tuesday morning he worked with Irish Dream (running in race 8, the PPS Stakes)  over 800m, stopping the clock at 53.23 and 37.97 last 600m. Take on trust.

Black Caviar makes her much anticipated return to racing, in the Essendon Mazda Australia Stakes, 1200m. Trainer Peter Moody believes she's improved further and come back better than ever! She blitzed them in a jumpout, last week at Caulfield, scoring by a widening 6-7 lengths to the line. Hardly a tip, just enjoy the moment and watch her make a mess of them.

The Mick Price trained Harry's Magic broke through last start in maiden company over 1400m and steps up to 1600m in the Mitchelton Wines Hcp, Friday night under lights at The Valley. Lightly raced progressive type who can go on with it here. Tuesday morning he worked nicely over 1200m, clocking 1.22.94 and 25.37 last 400m. Looks a nice each way bet.

Madaba Flyer hasn't set the world on fire this time in, however, he's an out and out stayer and can improve sharply in the Aquanas Foods Hcp, 3000m. He's rock hard fit and looks very well placed in this. Tuesday morning he wasn't extended on the training track, working over 1800m in even time. Already a winner at the track and probably a much better chance than his recent form suggests.

Really like the way Heart Of Melbourne has progressed at his first preparation, culminating in a professional last start win, in showcase company at Werribee. Looks a horse of the future, he'll step out in the Corporate Interiors Aus Hcp, 1000m. Your Excellency is on the 7 day back up. Defied the betting drift to score an all the way win in a class 1 at Ballarat on Sunday. This is harder. Lone Star is fit and one for the multiples punters.

The Sportingbet Carlyon Classic looks a perfect race for Power O'Raylee. She's racing in great heart and looks to have a class edge on her rivals. Trained on a treat, holding her condition very well. Tuesday morning she worked over 1600m in 1.51.73 and 36.55 last 600m. Stick with her.

Hard to split the Caulfield runners in the Printhouse Hcp, 1600m. Slight leaning to Oregon Spirit. He drops 1.5kg in weight and will get the gun run from barrier 1. Backs up after a week and shouldn't have any problems running out the mile. Crawfish rises 2.5kg in weight, however, he's racing in great heart, so i wouldn't rule him out completely. Tuesday morning he worked over 1200m in 1.22.94 and 25.37.

Volando should take a power of beating on Saturday at Sandown in the City Of Opportunity Hcp, 1400m. On the 7 day back up, ran a blinder of a race last start, failing by a long neck. Back to her own sex here and very well suited. Loves this track and distance and comes in with 57kg, after the claim.
